"BAR/BAT MITZVAH & BEYOND"

Welcome to our exciting "Bar/Bat Mitzvah and Beyond"  program!

In Judaism, the Bar/Bat Mitzvah marks a most significant stage in the life of a young Jewish person.  This is the turning point at which a boy or girl becomes a Jewish adult.  They are to become aware of their great role in the Jewish nation, and realize their integral part of the Jewish tradition by making an eternal commitment to continue in the ways of our forefathers and foremothers.  This commitment serves to inspire them to contantly recognize their privileges and responsibilities to themself, their fellow man, and above all, to G-d.

The goal of the "Bar/Bat Mitzvah and Beyond" program is to emphasize that the concepts tuaght now will serve as a guarantee for their future Jewish identity, that the rituals of Jewish life and of the festivals will be of great importance to their future Jewish lives and participation within the Jewish community.

When your child is ready for their Bar/Bat Mitzvah, you will be guided through the planning and preparations for this special occasion. 

Private tutoring will be arranged with our Rabbi, Rebbetzin, and personal Haftorah expert, Mr. Glenn Peltz, and your family will have the option of celebrating in the warm and traditional atmosphere of the Chabad of Laguna synagogue.
