Join us for an October 7th memorial evening with Izzy Ezagui, a decorated IDF squad commander, wounded warrior, and author whose story has inspired audiences around the world.
After losing an arm in combat, Izzy fought his way back to active duty. He is believed to be the only one-armed soldier to have returned to active combat service in the IDF. In 2011, former Israeli President Shimon Peres awarded him one of Israel’s highest military honors. Following October 7, Izzy returned to serve once again.
Izzy now travels throughout the U.S. and internationally, speaking about resilience, recovery, and finding the strength to move forward. His journey has been featured by outlets across the spectrum, including The Huffington Post, Al Jazeera America, Fox News, and The Dr. Phil Podcast. The Algemeiner named him one of its "Top 100 People Positively Influencing Jewish Life."
On October 8th, we’ll come together to remember those we lost, honor those who stepped forward, and hear Izzy’s remarkable story firsthand. It will be an evening of remembrance, courage, and Jewish resilience.
Thursday, October 8th, 7:00 PM.
